Limited Edition Archival Silver Gelatin Selenium Photographs
As the trends and movements in photography seem to sway toward alternative techniques and digital imagery, my work captures the purity and natural beauty of the area through more traditional photographic methods.
A majority of my images are captured on Kodak High Speed Infrared film. I develop and print all images using archival silver gelatin paper finishing them in selenium to bring out the richness and add to the archival qualities. Silver gelatin paper is made by combining silver bromide or silver chloride and combining it with gelatin which creates a smooth surface on the paper, hence the name silver gelatin. The nature of the pricing of my prints does take into consideration the above processes. However, it also directly reflects the size of the print being purchased and that all my prints are from a numbered limited edition series, which directly increases the value of your purchase. No images have been digitally produced or altered.
Older images have editions limited to 30 per size for a total of 150 prints produced.
Newer images have an edition limited to a total of 30 regardless of size.
Each image is signed and numbered on the front of the print. Signature, origination date, title and print number is handwritten on the back.
My images are delivered unframed and unmounted. This allows the buyer to control the final artistic outcome to his or her liking.
To care for these photographs never display them in strong ultraviolet radiation, such as direct sunlight, and never without proper framing, ideally including an acid free rag mat and UV filtering glass.
